story hour
This was a week full of fun for Emma. Yesterday she tried cat food for the first time (she liked it until Grandma pulled her away from it!) and tonight was "picture night" at story hour. Emma loves when "Mrs. D" reads stories!

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Today was Emma's daddy's birthday. It fell on Memorial Day this year, so we thought it would be a perfect day for a picnic. We invited both sets of grandparents, Great Gram and Pawp, Auntie Mal, and Great Uncle Eric and Great Aunt Sharon over to our house. We had a lot of fun!

We celebrated Emma's daddy's birthday one day early by having a nice dinner at Maggiano's with Grandma and Grandpa Lieberg.

Emma turned 11 months on Friday- hard to believe! On Saturday she was a good girl during two wedding ceremonies. Here she is outside of Annette's wedding with daddy.

Emma's new friend
On Friday, Emma visited with Jennifer, who was babysitting her nephew Evan, who is six months older than Emma. It was Emma's first time meeting Evan, but her mommy and daddy remember seeing him when he was just a little under a week old at Jennifer's wedding! The two of them had fun chasing after each other around. Who knows, maybe they'll have a playdate this summer!

business trip
Emma's daddy is in California this week. Luckily he was able to get an earlier flight so he will be home one day sooner than expected. He sent us this picture he took on Tuesday.

Happy Mother's Day!
Today Emma helped mommy celebrate her first Mother's Day. Emma's Daddy made her a DVD of Emma's best pictures and videos. Emma gave mommy a cute purse too. After Daddy left for California, we had a nice day together and then Grandma and Grandpa Ristau and Auntie Mal had us over for dinner at their house.

Happy Birthday Grandma Lieberg!
Today Emma helped celebrate Grandma Lieberg's birthday. We all went to Red Robin for lunch and then came back to our house for presents.

Emma has another ear infection!
Emma has not felt like herself the last day or so. That is because she has an ear infection. Her second one. Mommy took her to the doctor and hopefully she will be back to herself soon!
Emma loves Jerry's!
Emma went for a walk on Saturday and her Gramdma & Grandpa Lieberg indulged her with some ice cream. Yummy!
