Emma is so close to crawling! She can get up on her hands and knees but she doesn't know what to do to get herself going.

Get Well Soon!
Last night Emma visited her Grandma Lieberg who is recovering at home from surgery. They all had dinner (and cupcakes) together. Grandma Ristau made the cupcakes.

Emma had a tiny bit of a cupcake from Grandma and then Grandma put the rest on the counter on a paper towel. Emma's mommy and grandma were talking for a minute, and when they looked at her, they saw that she had pulled the cupcake and paper towel off of the counter!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
For her first St. Patrick's Day, Emma wore green, played with green toys, and got a card from her mommy and daddy.

It was such a beautiful day today that we walked down to the park, but the swings were not hung up yet, so we played on the slides for a few minutes and walked back home.

Since there was no school on Monday, Emma and mommy went and visited Emma's daddy at work and they all had lunch together.

Emma wanted to say night night to her daddy and blow him a good night kiss all the way to California.
Grandpa, Grandma, and Emma
Grandpa and Grandma Lieberg came over for dinner tonight. They stayed to play with Emma afterwards. Emma pulled herself from sitting to standing for the first time tonight and she had quite an excited audience to witness it! We'll have to keep practicing so she can show Daddy when he gets back.

One of Emma's mommy's students made Emma a bracelet and this headband, which Emma would not keep on her head long enough for her mommy to get a picture of it! She did have fun playing with it and looking at the pretty colors though.

Today Emma had her first sneeze with a mouthful of food- it was carrots and it was messy!

We miss you!
Emma and her mommy miss Emma's daddy who is in California until Saturday. It is not as fun around here without him!
new session of gym and swim
Emma had her fist class of her second session of gym and swim. She had to miss last week due to her ear infection, but she got right back into the swing of things tonight. She even clapped during one song right at the part when the babies are asked to clap!
Since Emma's Daddy is away this week, she had her Grandma Ristau and Auntie Mal there to cheer her on and help her mommy.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Lieberg!
Emma helped Grandpa celebrate his birthday Monday night. We've been practicing singing "Happy Birthday to You," but Emma was too busy gnawing away on her biter biscuit to sing. It doesn't look like her Grandpa minded too much!
