Tonight was Emma's first bath in the "big bathtub." We had to put her in there because she likes to kick and splash so much. Abby wanted to make sure everything was okay. She sat on top of the toilet for the rest of Emma's bath!

Aaron made some tomato bisque and we had both sets of Emma's grandparents and Auntie Mal over to watch some football.
Grandma's Party
Last night we celebrated Grandma's birthday at Dino's with Emma's other grandparents and some of Grandma's good friends. Grandma was suprised- she thought she was coming to a party for Emma's mom! We had our own little room so it was very cozy.
Emma's New Trick
Emma likes to suck in her upper lip now. Sometimes she does it really fast- three times in a row.

birthday shirt
Today is Emma's four month birthday! Monday was Mommy's birthday. Emma, Grandma, and Daddy surprised Mommy by coming into her classroom with a balloon and a cake made of candy bars with Mommy's past birthday pictures on them. Emma was wearing this cute turtleneck. Mommy was really surprised. Her students enjoyed seeing Emma and Emma even smiled for them.

Our Day at Pumpkinville
Emma is 16 weeks old today! We went to Pumpkinville at Patterson's. We don't know who had a better time, Emma or the grown-ups!

You'll have to turn your head to the side to see this one. Meredith didn't realize that you couldn't rotate a video after you took it. It is pretty funny though. Emma was rather unaffected by her first ride on a slide.

Emma likes to sleep with her lovey (from Uncle Christian, Aunt Amy, Julia and Joshua), her blanket (made by Great Gram), and her bunny (from Grandma Ristau). Sometimes she falls asleep in her swing with all her favorite things.

big smile
Emma was smiling yesterday because she got some good news from the doctor. She didn't end up needing another laser treatment on her lip because the ulcer has healed. Yeah! Now we will just sit back and wait for the hemangioma to run its course and start reducing in size. We have a follow-up appointment in January, which hopefully will bring more good news.
