Today my Great-Grandparents stopped by to visit me. They both held me and talked to me. It was really great to see them once more. I can't wait until they come by and visit again!

A letter to my wife
Nearly one week ago, I learned what strength and courage is. Last Saturday, my wife went into labor with my beautiful daughter. The moment that we had waited nine months for was going to happen in just a matter of hours. It was at that time that I saw how incredible my wife is. The way that she dealt with the pain and discomfort was nothing short of heroic. This short note cannot adequately express my love and gratitude for the gift that she has given me. I want everyone who reads this to know that my wife, Meredith, is one of the most incredible people that I know.... and to top it all off, she's my wife. I have been blessed by God. I love you, Meredith.

Doctor visit
Emma had her first doctor visit on Thursday. She has gained 3.5 ounces since coming home from the hospital and her doctor says she is doing just great.

Emma Karen Lieberg
She has ARRIVED!!! Emma Karen Lieberg was born at 8:28 am June 22, 2008. Our little bundle of joy weighs in at 7lbs 2oz. and 19 inches long! We want to thank all of you who have been praying for us and thinking about us. We have felt your love and support. We will update often to show her progress.

At the hospital now.
Well, our baby had some other plans it would seem. We got to the hospital at 11am this morning. We still have some time to go, but all is progressing well so far.

Just the two of us
Meredith and I went down to the lakeshore tonight to see the sun set on Lake Erie before the baby comes. It was a beautiful night to sit and watch the lake. It is hard to believe that in less than 48 hours (we hope) that we will be parents. Our next entry will be pictures of our beautiful little girl.

Good News!
Today our doctor told us that if Meredith does not go into labor before Saturday, that we should go to the hospital to be induced. The baby will most likely be born on Sunday, June 22. We are so excited and ready for this! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

One week to go.
It seems like yesterday that we were telling our family that we were pregnant, and now there is only one week to go! The room is ready, the car is ready, and Meredith's suitcase is ready. The only thing left is to actually have this baby. Our family is very excited as are we. The next post will have pictures of our little bundle of joy.
